THE ROLE
The Certified Accident & Sickness Insurance Representative plays a vital role in delivering exceptional client experiences by serving as a trusted resource throughout the travel journey. This position is responsible for educating clients, fostering strong relationships between clients and sales specialists, and guiding them in making informed financial safety decisions. Successful representatives are passionate and sales-driven professionals who excel at managing competing priorities while maintaining service quality, consistently delivering high-end results on schedule.
As an Accident & Sickness Insurance Representative, you are accommodating and analytical while producing highly precise and accurate work. You are;

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
• Most importantly, you will lead by example, live our values, and drive business relationships for the company by providing exceptional customer service;
• A key emphasis on building rapport and relationships and ensuring that strong long-term relationships are created by providing an industry leading level of support to clients in maintaining their insurance needs;
• Sell travel insurance to existing and new clients while consistently providing a high level of customer service;
• Conduct a thorough assessment of client’s travel insurance needs and offer advice, products and services that best fit those needs;
• Finalize sales while ensuring excellent after-sales service through proactive customer follow-ups and callbacks;
• Motivated to achieve sales goals, while ensuring all tasks are executed accurately and in a timely manner; and
• Other duties as required.
WHAT WE REQUIRE:
• Minimum Secondary 5 diploma required; post-secondary education, certificates, or industry-related programs are considered an asset;
• Bilingual fluency in French and English is required to support clients across Canada;
• Ability to demonstrate rigor and attention to detail;
• Must hold an Accident & Sickness license or willing to obtain;
• A well-defined sense of diplomacy and business acumen with a focus on customer service and the overall client experience;
• Skill in analysis, problem solving, critical thinking, decision making, teamwork, communication, innovation, and adaptability;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
• Experience in Call Centres considered an asset;
• Experience in the insurance industry considered an asset;
• Successful candidates are subject to background checks (credit and docket).
